Yes! You get to keep what you catch. We will also help you hang them on the board and take your picture. We will help fillet and bag your fish, too. Remember to bring a cooler(s) to transport your catch. Ice is available at Seagull Marina (where we launch) or from McDonalds, which is on the same site.
We provide life jackets for all passengers. You may still bring your own if you wish; however, we have a Type-1 Life Jacket for each passenger on board, equipped with whistle and light. Children aged 12 and under must wear a life jacket while fishing on deck. We have several that are comfortable.
The Salmon Trapper is generously equipped with all the fishing equipment you'll need - Garmin electronics, radar, electric Cannon down-riggers, rods/reels, and hundreds of flashers and spoons to reel in your salmon or trout.
Yes. Licenses are available through the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources and Seagull Marina, where we charter out of. One-day fishing licenses are available.
If you are unsure or are prone to seasickness, you may wish to take medication as prescribed by any of the over-the-counter options. We also have a spacious cabin on board with private washroom and toilet if you need to rest.
Between now and your trip, you can keep an eye on the lake using the Two Rivers Harbor Cam and monitor the lake's surface temps to get a feel.
